This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
The anime event Chibi-Pa is over in Palm Beach Gardens and it was an awesome success for the Visual Art Society of Dwyer and its Anime SIG. We met some outstanding people and awesome artists. We also received excellent advice from the artist there and some of them have already reached out to me on Deviant Art. This was really great for my students and made the experience wonderful for all of us. I watched my art club students go from amateurs to professional artist in just a few hours. Before the show even began we had a commission piece on Friday and it remained that way till the end at 5pm Sunday (today). There were no respites, especially today when two of my students had 9-11 commissions between them and I had two. We also realized thanks to the artist there (did I say enough about how great everyone was to us.) that we need to work smarter not harder. Some of the things we learned for next time...pricing of merchandise based on demand and what the marked would support. Merchandising our work though display and better presentation. Spreading the work load based on the skills of other members. Having the product available in a way that little work was needed to sell the product...(Pre-made merchandise)...this wasn't just about drawing pictures, this was Business 101....and yes even with some short comings we made a profit. The best thing thing of all...my students want to do it again...the sooner the better.
